I aggree this plugin should have more functionalities

Some people tried to start discussion about it but, I think Jimmy has not a lot of time for this plugin ... :(

I would prefer the idea : http://cactiusers.org/forums/topic90.html or http://cactiusers.org/forums/topic227.html or http://cactiusers.org/forums/topic58.html
Because in this way we can use also the right gived by Cacti to see only some part.

other ideas:
+ Enable monitoring from Devices list via dropdown http://cactiusers.org/forums/topic611.html
+ Monitor with Instant Messaging for e.g. helpdesk http://cactiusers.org/forums/topic293.html
+ 'down' hosts appear at the TOP of the monitor tab? (with solution) http://cactiusers.org/forums/topic137.html

Gilles has released the Manage Plugin to the Cacti Community. We will be altering that plugin (more like me) to make it mucho excellent in the months to come. So add your feature requests.

This is my next major project and I will be consolidating all the templates into a unified database approach. So, for those of you who own Templates, you will be receiving e-mails at some point.

I don't understand something ... We were speaking about "monitor" and you answer with "manager".
I am using both because for my helpdesk monitor is simple with sound and banner Instant messaging .... in anycase I will always use both because I need two views.

Sure, with Crayon and Napkin, I will re-architect Manage to incorporate the features of Monitor. It will take some time to do this as I am also working on several other important Plugins.

However, once done, you will have in one package called Cacti features from Nagios + your contribs + other conribs. This may take me a whole year to finish. We'll see.

I still have 1 question, how do I sort the icon image, if the device is a computer using a computer and if it is a router/switch network it uses the server icon?

Thanks in advance for your feedback

Well, I would put in a feature request on that at GitHub.
